The progress of the Hackney Wick development has been captured on film following the release of new photos of the Olympic media centre.
The photographs were published by the Olympic Delivery Authority. They show the International Broadcast Centre and the Main Press Centre beginning to take shape on the River Lea banks. The pictures come from webcams that record the progress of the development throughout the day and night and can be seen on the London 2012 website.
Once completed the media hub will be home temporarily for about 20,000 different journalists, photographers, and broadcasters who will be gathered at the London games to report the events to over four billion people across the world in their respective countries.
Although there were disputes earlier about the design of the venue, the Olympic Delivery Authority stated that the new photos prove that the building is on track to be completed by its scheduled date of 2011.
Chair of the London 2012 Organizing Committee, Sebastian Coe said that the images show that the organization is making strides forward in making a media environment fit for all of the incoming media workers by the summer of 2012 when the Olympics are held. He continued to say that billions of people depend on the media to allow them to view the events and the atmosphere that comes alive during the Olympic Games.

You may not realize it, but in the next few minutes you are going to learn one of the three most important steps to a successful pay-per-click campaign. That is, how do we find powerful keyword phrases in five easy steps? And the best of all, these steps are absolutely free!
As a start, you should focus on finding keyword phrases versus individual keywords. An individual keyword is usually too general in target and carries a higher bid price. For example, just think if you chose the keyword “toys” and how many types of toys might come up in the search results. We could have girl toys, boy toys, adult toys, child toys, youth toys, adolescent toys, pool toys, etc. If you were marketing toys for boys six to nine years old and bid on the keyword “toys” you would probably spend an excessive amount and get a number of click-throughs from individuals that are not in your target market.
So, how many keyword phrases do you need? Your goal should be a minimum of twenty keyword phrases with a target of seventy-five to one hundred. By the time you apply the matching options offered by the pay-per-click search engine, you should have more than enough keyword phrases.
Where do you find the phrases? Keyword phrases can come from a number of sources. As a first step, take a look at your website and start listing possible keyword phrases. Think about your Unique Selling Proposition for your product or service and add to your list of keyword phrases.
Who are your competitors? Go to your search engine of choice and do a quick search with your initial list of possible keyword phrases. Scan the search results and select several web sites. Go to the Overture Keyword Selector Tool and enter your keyword or keyword phrase in the search box. You should be able to add a number of keyword phrases to your list that perhaps you haven’t thought of plus you get one other key piece of information.
You will learn the popularity of the keyword search phrases. If the number of searches is in the thousands then you have a large market opportunity for your product or service offering. Unfortunately, if it is a low number of searches you may want to reconsider your market potential. However, a pay-per-click campaign could be a quick market research project. There is no reason why low search volume phrases cannot produce a high click-through and conversion rate opportunity in a small, targeted market. Isn’t that what people refer to as a niche market?
Now again, add more keyword phrases to your list.
Check out the Google Adwords Keyword Tool. This tool works differently from the Overture tool. Enter your keyword search phrase in the search box, select your language and country and review the two results. The first result is every keyword search phrase containing your keyword search phrase. The second result is similar keywords to your keyword search phrase. Once again, you will probably see some keyword phrases that you haven’t thought about. Unfortunately, search volumes are not provided but, look at the number of possible additions to your keyword phrase list.
Again, add more keyword phrases to your list.
There is one additional keyword tool you might want to consider. This free tool is Good Keywords which can be downloaded at http://www.goodkeywords.com. This tool retrieves its results from the Overture search engine so you will get the same information as the Overture Keyword Selector Tool. However, it does provide features and functions which make it easier to cut and paste results to other documents such as Microsoft Word or Excel. Once the keyword phrases and search volumes are loaded in an Excel spreadsheet, it is very easy to sort, group and manipulate your keyword phrase possibilities.
By now you should easily have one hundred plus keyword phrases to select from. In fact, you may have a several hundred or even more than one thousand. Also, there are several other things you may want to consider such as synonyms to your keywords, typical misspellings and seasonal variations of your keyword phrases.
The task of finding, selecting and targeting keyword phrases is a significant key to success in pay-per-click marketing. Apply these ideas and tasks and you will be on your way to pay-per-click campaign success.

Hi. I had originally planned to talk about Nick Drake today, but I
changed my mind and decided to start out with the artist who in my
opinion put out the best record of 2005. The record is Le fil, and
the artist is Camille. She is a very talented French musician with an
amazing voice and a lot of confidence. Her first album came out in 2002.
Called Le sac des filles, it is good, but not extraordinary. Some of
you may be familiar with the song “Ruby,” which is featured in an
American commercialfortunately I can’t remember which one. I was
very pissed off when I heard it. Le fil is her second album, and
superior not only to her first record, but to anything I’ve heard in a long
time.
I would compare the changes, growth, and development of her two
albums to the differences in Radiohead’s first two albums, Pablo
Honey and The Bends. Le sac des filles is almost
straight pop, with some jazzy elements, but Le fil goes far
beyond pop. It begins with le fil, or the threadone note that resounds
throughout the entire album. This thread ties the album together and
makes the songs run together almost like one song. One reviewer on
Amazon compared the album to a suite. Another reviewer said she
couldn’t singI have him pegged for an Avril Lavigne fan. A lot of
people are comparing Camille to Bjork; I like Bjork, but she’s no Camille.
She’s also compared to Fiona Apple, which is interesting simply
because they both have songs called “Pale September,” although the
songs are not the same. I can’t think of anyone to whom she should be
compared.
Now I’ll give a quick rundown of the songs. The album begins with “La
jeune fille aux cheveux blancs,” which is my favorite song. It is haunting,
dark, and beautiful. My next favorite, “Ta douleur,” follows. I think this is
the poppiest song on the album, and the catchiest. It’s still completely
different from anything else I’ve heard. This song is where her skills at
the human beatbox come into play. It’s basically a bass and her voice,
but the song is still rich and diverse. “Assise” slows it down and then
“Janine I” picks up the tempo a little. Some of the best beatbox is found
in the series of three Janine songs. Song number five is called “Vous,”
and I like it most for the backing vocals, which are strong, interesting,
and odd on all the songs. “Baby Carni Bird” is a rather melancholy song
with the chorus in English. “Pour que l’amour me quitte” is slow and sad.
It’s very calming, which I think is necessary to get ready for what’s
coming in the next few songs. “Senza” is very strange; I can’t really
describe it any other way, except to say that I like it and it fits.
“Janine II”
is fairly slow and contains more great beatbox. “Vertige” actually makes
me kind of dizzy. “Au port” is one of the best songs on the albumgreat
lyrics, great beat, great clapping, great sounds, great backing vocals,
great everything. One thing I love about Camille is that she can sing
really fast, which is best displayed on this song and on the next, “Janine
III,” which is the fastest and my favorite Janine song. Her voice gets
extremely raspy at one point, which sounds fantastic. “Ple septembre”
starts off really slow and sad-sounding and then picks up into something
that is utterly amazing, especially if you’re listening at high volume in a
car. “Rue de Ménilmontant” sounds almost like a military march at times.
This is the second to last song and is very difficult to characterize. It
carries you right into the last song, “Quand je marche,” which is another
favorite of mine and one of the best songs on the albuma great end to
a great record. Although it isn’t really the end, because after this there is
half an hour of le fil.

Someone spilled a drink on my liner notes, and now all the pages are
stuck together; otherwise I would dig more into the lyrics. However, even
if you don’t know a word of French, I don’t think it will matteryou’ll still
love this album. I didn’t translate any of the song titles, but I will go
ahead and leave you with a translation of the note on the back page of
the liner notes:
