I have been taking in a lot of great new blogs of late. I am unconvinced about all the twitter bustle. I still enjoy blogs and have over 1000 in my feed reader.
The point with blogs is that you can find hidden jewels, and they are from people that really like to write.
Sure you can chance some stylish individuals on twitter. But, seriously, twitter is for individuals with attention defecit disorder or who dont like to write decent posts. Yes, masses of people twitter and also blog, and those people are stylish by me, but I am forever and eternally a blog lover.
Blogs draw the author to actually articluate their feeling. Twitter by comparison merely allows you to state it. Call me old fashioned but I imagine there is a point where smaller is no longer greater. We have been obsessed with miniturization for so long. Particularly when it comes to technology. Surely there has to be a place where we understand substance matters. Value matters. What do you suppose?
Possibly the actual answer rests in equilibrium. And compromise. You cannot pressure individuals to have substance and not be superficial. But, too perhaps you need to push the neo libral hippies to lighten up a touch aswell?

It’s a given I’m not the kind of gullible guy, all too occupied by going without a date instead of living it up with friends. I’d wager you guys have never heard me post about great dating and companionship. There’s a reason for that.
Boredom is a fixable trait and entirely never written into my behavioral makeup. Even so, Winter of 09 was an exception, I was forced to end a solid cohabitation that meant something to me but truly deadended for both of us. I guess somone would tell ya it has been a while since I dated someone new. I don’t have the great expectations I held years ago.
Living free and single isn’t bad. I know one thing, I refuse to spend another weekend faithfully devowering Battlestar Galactica on DVD. The number one factor behind this bout of occasional dating lameness? This isn’t college, and everyone else is boring.
My one-time hunting buddy, Josh, who has never had dating loneliness, sympathized because he is now in the same boat. He introduced me to this Dallas dating service called Great Expectations. A bit out of character, but I take to getting to know attractive women who share my passions. Surprise, I got real about my dating life and I’m now a satisfied member.
I told myself, you wouldn’t be disappointed about going dateless if you haven’t tried to meet anyone. As my senior year baseball coach Terry Simms told me as his idea of encouragement, “When the ladies don’t bite, bite them first, sparky.”
I don’t know why he called me that. Even so, Coach was a source of truth in a round about way. He meant well to everyone. This amazing series of Dallas singles events I just went to definitely would have short circuted coach’s noggin’.
