Debt consolidation is the process where multiple loans are replaced with only one loan that has a lower monthly payment scheme but a longer repayment period. There are basically two types of debt consolidation; secured and unsecured. In secured debt consolidation, some asset is placed as collateral for the debt consolidation loan. If the borrower fails to repay the loan, then he or she stands to lose the collateral.
In unsecured debt consolidation, no asset is used as collateral. So there is no fear of the lender having any direct charge on the borrower’s home in the event of non-payment of the consolidation loan. Here, if repayments are not made, the borrower has the privilege of re-negotiating the repayment with the lender. There is no fear of the collateral being lost through non-repayment of the unsecured debt consolidation loan. However, the interest rates of these consolidation loans are usually on the higher side.
One of the advantages of an unsecured debt consolidation loan is that since there is no property valuation involved in sanctioning the loan, these loans are approved faster. This saving in time also saves in any debts that may keep on adding through its interest. However, to get an unsecured debt consolidation loan, it is important that the borrower be clean on the credit front as the credit history helps the lender determine the credibility of the borrower. This is because the loan providers may fear sanctioning loans to borrowers with a bad credit history, and with no collateral pledged.
However, this does not mean that a person with bad credit will be rejected an unsecured debt consolidation loan. Nowadays, there are many loan providers who are willing to take a risk with lending money to people with bad credit. This is because they now believe that bad credit is not an absolute indicator of credibility.
One of the disadvantages of an unsecured debt consolidation loan is that the borrower cannot draw as large an amount as the secured debt consolidation loans. This is so as to cover the risk of giving a loan without any collateral. However, if the lender has enough faith in the borrower, then there is a chance of him loaning him a greater amount in the unsecured debt consolidation loan.
The specialty of an unsecured debt consolidation loan or any debt consolidation loan is that the loan provider actually designates experts who work along with them to eliminate debts. Here the borrowers only have the task of performing the debt settlement process. They have to provide information of the various debts they want settled; this has to include all big and small debts. The reason all the small debts have to be included is that the borrowed amount does not increase much with its inclusion, and these small debts add up to a big amount with its interest.
Once the information of the debts is provided to the loan provider, then their trained representatives will handle the several creditors of the borrower. This is a relief to the borrower, after all that haggling with the creditors. Good representatives can in fact bring down the repayable amount and thus save on the unsecured debt consolidation loan.

The Doncaster Bus Company has been ordered to pay the widow of one of their drivers, £200,000. After he died three months after being crushed between a bus and a wall at work.
The man’s wife began proceedings against the company, claiming they were responsiblem,by being negligent, and by being guilty of a breach of duty to their employees.
It was claimed that the Company had allocated a vehicle to their driver, which they knew to be mechanically defective. The accident happened, as the driver tried to move the vehicle backwards but the audible reversing signal was not working. He was crushed between the bus and a wall.
It was claimed that, not only did the company allow the driver to use an unsafe and potentially dangerous bus. They also allowed their bus to be stationed excessively far from the wall allowing other workers to pass behind the parked vehicle.
Also knowing this was unsafe practice. Ultimately, the possibility did become a reality. Resulting in the untimely death of a fifty three year old man, the settlement was agreed in the High Court, but no admission of liability was made.
Unforeseen accidents can happen in an instant and it is essential that companies make sure that staff and managers are fully aware of all health and safety regulations relating to your business practice. Find out more about the accredited NEBOSH training available from the experts at Workplace Law.

One day Mr. Shoaff said, “Jim, if you want to be wealthy and happy, learn this lesson well: Learn to work harder on yourself than you do on your job.”
Since that time I’ve been working on my own personal development. And I must admit that this has been the most challenging assignment of all. This business of personal development lasts a lifetime.
You see, what you become is far more important than what you get. The important question to ask on the job is not, “What am I getting?” Instead, you should ask, “What am I becoming?” Getting and becoming are like Siamese twins: What you become directly influences what you get. Think of it this way: Most of what you have today you have attracted by becoming the person you are today.
I’ve also found that income rarely exceeds personal development. Sometimes income takes a lucky jump, but unless you learn to handle the responsibilities that come with it, it will usually shrink back to the amount you can handle.
If someone hands you a million dollars, you’d better hurry up and become a millionaire. A very rich man once said, “If you took all the money in the world and divided it equally among everybody, it would soon be back in the same pockets it was before.”
It is hard to keep that which has not been obtained through personal development
So here’s the great axiom of life:
–To Have More Than You’ve Got, Become More Than You Are–
This is where you should focus most of your attention. Otherwise, you just might have to contend with the axiom of not changing, which is:
–Unless You Change How You Are, You’ll Always Have What You’ve Got–
To Your Success,

In the Clinton era the status quo was simple: you serve your local clients and if you want to expand your business - open offices in other business metros. Great Plains Software was granting generous margins on the software sales and stimulated local leading VARs/Partners/Resellers with so-called orphan leads - customers who lapsed in payment annual enhancement program or called Great Plains Software directly to comply about quality of service by their VAR. When Microsoft purchased Great Plains Software and formed Microsoft Great Plains Business Solutions (soon renamed into Microsoft Business Solutions) and acquired new ERP/MRP/accounting applications: Navision, Axapta, Solomon (Solomon Software was bought by Great Plains Software in the late 1990th). When Microsoft introduced Microsoft CRM - it tried to change traditional partner reselling model, let’s see what it is and why (this is our personal opinion - we are trying to envision the future for generic ERP VAR)
• Remote Support. This means that you do not have to be at the client office to troubleshoot, install and even train users - to be more direct and dare to say - implement the system remotely. Of course - in the close future it will unlock the doors for offshore consulting firms, but in this article we are sticking to US nationwide and Canadian markets and consultants in the USA and Canada. For Microsoft Business Solutions it means that if client is technical enough - it can serve the client from its customer support center by increasing the number of servicing technicians
• Software Sales Margin Decrease. If you can serve the customer your self - you can probably cut software sales margins. We see this happening with new Microsoft CRM line - in general it is harder to get new customer (new customers tend to purchase the software directly through MBS and then scream about the need to help them). We see more and more new customers purchasing Microsoft CRM from Microsoft for pilot project or just placing on the shelf
• “Open Technology”. Microsoft CRM SDK you can download from Microsoft website and use it at will - if you are C# or VB.Net programmer. This is opposite philosophy - remember old-good-days Great Plains Dexterity - you could not get this EDI free and you needed to purchase training class to get skills in this proprietary programming language. This trend probably indicates the maturity of the industry and consulting prices decrease
• Go Nationwide and Internationally. Yes - this is what we got to do - following the Microsoft Business Solutions way. Plus we’ll have to try to cut down our expenses by opening offshore facilities. International business is very tough from cultural standpoint and the earlier you jump there - the better. At this moment we see companies from India and Philippines who are trying to get USA subcontracts - these are your potential partners.
• Cross-Platform Integrations. We believe that XML introduction launched new epoch of computer platforms integration and harmony: Microsoft Windows, UNIX, Linux, IBM DB2/AS400/RS6000, Oracle. Corporate clients, including manufacturing, logistics, consignment, international business, distribution - will leverage multiplatform strategy to decrease the risk and increase longevity of the ERP/MRP
Good luck with selection, implementation and customization, if you have issues or concerns - we are here to help! If you want us to do the job - give us a call 1-866-528-0577! help@albaspectrum.com

Everywhere glaciers are disappearing at a speedier pace than at any time since recordings were started, states The Daily Mail. Glaciologists from the Glacier Monitoring Service, which records 30 glaciers across 7 mountain areas, guage that between 1848 to 1971 glaciers shrank at a mean rate of 27 centimeters a yr.. In between 1968 and 2003 the amount receding increased to 60 - 85 cm a yr. Since then the norm has constituted greater than 1m per year. The last year saw the greatest recedings yet of 1.5 metres.
Internationally glaciers are withdrawing leastwise as quickly as the glaciers in this sample with possibly fatal consequences for nearby communities. In the short run there could be many more floods, and in the long term, water supplies could run out, meaning acute water shortages.
Chamonix Mont Blanc France, has a great count of glaciers, the results of climate change and the retreating of glaciers could be keenly felt. Perhaps this is why so many businesses, and individuals seem to be more cognizant of these events so are therefore seeking to undertake steps to reduce the use of energy. Hopefully it isn’t too little too late to stay the results of climate change and guarantee an environment for our kids. Therefore think about how you travel when you go for your ski breaks in Chamonix.

Children can seem exhausting, annoying, wonderful, loud and funny all at the same time. They are a lot of work especially in the beginning years but what we need to realize is that they are our future so what we do with them in the early to teen years is important because they will become the leaders while we behold the golden years. How we raise them now affects how our future is in our later years and in theirs. When you see how our current situation is with illiteracy in schools, and crime, it can seem daunting to us.
Still, we can change our future by giving our children a good foundation, morals and values they can think with. I was a teacher for ten years and I learned a lot from that experience. The main thing that I learned was that the more attention you put on something, the more the children responded to that. For example, if some students were behaving badly and I constantly put attention on them being bad, then that is what I would get from them. But if I switched gears and put attention on the things they were doing right, then I noticed that they would try harder to do the right thing. It is something I noticed time and again.
It is interesting to note that when you are in a situation where you see many different children together, you can see what kind of up-bring they have had. Here is what I have observed:
a) A calm child has had an environment where he or she has been allowed to express their thoughts and has been allowed to contribute to the family. This child has been listened to and they are made to feel that they are important and have a place in the family. A child will want to contribute in his or her own way and that could be drawing you a picture or bringing you a flower. To ignore this is a big mistake. As a child this may be the only way they can contribute to the family because they are so small.
b) If a child is acting up and behaving badly and you constantly harp on them about that then they are made to feel that this is the only way to get attention and therefore will continue to do so. If you switch gears and start praising them for what they do right and ignore them or take away their privileges when they are behaving badly then they start to learn that if they want something that they have to be good in order to be a part of this group and get what they want. Then you have started to direct them to strive to be good and contribute to society. It will ultimately help them to grow into a responsible individual and your life will be better for it.
There is a motivational print called “Direction” which I love that states “There are two important things we can give our children, one is roots, the other is wings”. I love this saying as it is so apt. Lets make sure our children have a good foundation for us, our children and their children.

A reader asks: “Many times in my life I have let fear rule me and stop me from doing something I wanted to do. Do you have any suggestions for how to handle fear?”
There are many successful strategies for dealing with fear in your life. What I’ll offer you today are a variety of strategies, each of which can stand alone or can be used in conjunction with each other.
One is to realize that everyone is afraid from time to time. Some people show it. Some people don’t, which makes them look like they have it all together and are never afraid.
Every teenage boy knows the fear of rejection that causes him to hang up when the girl he wants to ask for a date answers the phone.
If you will consider the situation, or any fear of rejection, from a different perspective, I believe it will give you some power over fear. When the boy makes the phone call, he starts out not having a date. If he asks and she says yes, he has gained a date. If she says no, he has what he had when he started, no date. He hasn’t lost anything and he has no regrets.
That point of view can help turn fear of rejection on its head.
FEAR means
There are two acronyms for fear that I have found useful. One is that fear stands for
Forget Everything And Run.
Another is that fear stands for
False Evidence Appearing Real.
Many times our fear convinces our brains to search for evidence to support our feeling afraid. Our brains can always find evidence to support any fear.
Ralph Waldo Emerson said,
“Do the thing you fear and the death of fear is certain.”
When it comes to facing and conquering fears, practice, practice, practice is the key. Doing little things that you fear, over and over, forces the fear to flee.
This may sound crazy, but with practice it can become a challenge, even fun.
Let’s put some hands and feet on these ideas by giving you two specific techniques for conquering fear.
The first comes from Mark Victor Hansen and Jack Canfield, co-authors of the “Chicken Soup for the Soul” series. In their book on the power of asking, “The Aladdin Factor” (Berkley Books, $13), the authors devote an entire chapter to the conquering of fear.
One of the most useful techniques is a two-part sentence completion. The first sentence is, “When it comes to asking for what I want, I’m afraid to …” In the second sentence, for each example in the first, change the sentence to say “I would really like to - and I scare myself by imagining … ” They key word here is imagining. Once we realize and face how we are scaring ourselves, we are well on the way to conquering our fears.
Here’s another useful technique: Take a blank sheet of paper. On one side draw a timeline from birth to the present. On the timeline, mark and date all the times in your life that you have been hindered by fear.
Now turn the page over. On one end of the page write down a major dream or goal in your life, and make a list of all the steps necessary to reach that dream or goal. Turn the paper back over and look at the timeline. That’s the past. You have no control over it and can’t do anything about it, except learn from it. Turn the paper over and put it behind you.
On this side of the paper is your present and future. You can do plenty about your future. You, not fear, can decide how this side of the paper will look.
Finally, let’s take the word fear and create an acronym that is empowering. Fear now stands for Face Each Area Repeatedly. Do this, and your fears will have to fall.

Being in your forties is a very uncertain age. You are really not young but not old, as my dad would say you are at your prime age. Being forty is where a lot of your very critical and important decisions that could affect how your life unravels are made. It is the age where you might be planning a wedding or might be having your first born. Maybe starting that long life job that you have always dreamed you had and finally buying your first home. On the down side of things this is the age that your body begins to slow down, or better said your metabolism. So make sure you keep up the workout routines and take your acceletrim supplement daily to keep in good shape.
Just as decisions are made and goals are accomplished we must always keep a reality check on everything that is around us, and make sure that we are not to busy for the people that matter to us and that grew up with us. Being forty is about making things happen for you and the ones you love so that when you are older things look up not down. It is the age where you should be getting some traveling into your agenda because there is simply nothing better than to know the world you live in at young age where you can still walk the long walks in old Europe.
